Sarva Shiksha Foundation, founded in 2009, is a non-governmental organization with a primary goal of addressing poverty, especially among children. Or Read moreiginally initiated as a family project, it has expanded its initiatives across India, with a specific focus on assisting the underprivileged, irrespective of their backgrounds. The Foundation is committed to facilitating the integration of children, youth, and individuals with disabilities into mainstream society, offering them opportunities to break free from poverty. Its vision revolves around enabling deprived Indian children to realize their full potential through education. The mission involves empowering underprivileged individuals through educational, healthcare, livelihood, and social development programmes, all with the aim of achieving a positive social return on investment.

Vocational Training Programme
Vocational Training Programmes, also known as Career and Technical Education (CTE), focus on preparing learners for hands-on, practical jobs that are closely tied to specific trades or vocations. These programmes are designed to equip students with practical skills for specific professions. Examples of vocational courses offered include Diploma in Fashion Technology, Beautician, Tailoring and cutting, Carpentry, Welding Technology, Motor Mechanic, Electrical Technician, Catering Management, Hotel Management, Electrician, and Mechanical Fitter. The eligibility criteria vary, with some programs requiring a 10th-grade education and others open to students who have passed the 5th grade. The courses typically have durations of one to two years, allowing students to gain expertise in their chosen fields.

Nursery Teacher Training Programme
Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) is a highly sought-after programme for individuals aspiring to become preschool teachers. NTT focuses on the growth and learning of young children, aiming to enhance teaching practices and improve the quality of nursery-level education. The course covers areas like teaching methods, childcare, child psychology, and communication.
