The Rural Healthcare Foundation works to bring primary healthcare to remote regions of West Bengal. These densely populated rural outreaches do not ha Read moreve many qualified medical practitioners leading to the dependence on unauthorised practitioners who charge a lot while being a risk for life. The Foundation has set up a chain of outpatient clinics in the remote regions of West Bengal that cater to the local population's primary medical needs. The clinics are affordable and for a small fee provide consultation and medicines to last one week. The clinics are set up at accessible locations and can be reached easily by transport.

  • Medical Camp at Sundarbans

    South 24 Parganas
    West Bengal

    In partnership with NGO Mukti, the Foundation helped to provide relief to the people of the Sundarbans in the aftermath of the damage caused by cyclone Bulbul. With volunteer doctors and support staff, It stood along with the survivors to rehabilitate and resettle them.

  • Free Medical Camp at the Jyotish Roy Road Centre

    Kolkata
    West Bengal

    Four specialist doctors from N.H. Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences were engaged in conducting a free medical camp at Its Jyotish Roy Road Centre. Patients were received and treated by the Cardiologist, ENT specialist, Gynaecologist and Child specialist for three hours in the morning and provided with medicines free of cost.

  • Training Workshop for NGOs by NGOBOX

    The Foundation participated in a workshop named "A Training Workshop for NGOs’ in Kolkata: Fundraising through Crowd funding and CSR Partnerships" arranged by NGOBOX in partnership with Kolkata Gives which saw good participation from all the organisations involved.
