Programs

  • School & Hostel

    Despite pandemic challenges, The Catalyst's school and hostel persevered. Academic activities faced interruptions, but staff continued their duties. Hostel capacity was gradually restored, and students attended in smaller groups when restrictions eased. Virtual communication became vital for academic engagement. Extensive maintenance work continued, led by Birsha Mura. Renovations included the school kitchen, roof replacements, and restroom improvements. The organization remained unwavering in its commitment to the students' well-being and education during these trying times.

  • Special Education Support

    The Catalyst extends special educational support to students like Kuni Mura, whose determination to overcome adversity is commendable. Kuni, a tribal girl facing challenges in her education due to the extended closure of her school and hostel, persevered and prepared for the Madhyamic Examination of 2022. Despite the hurdles she encountered, The Catalyst stood by her, and she successfully sat for her Board Examination in March 2022. This exemplifies the organisation's commitment to providing crucial assistance to students facing exceptional circumstances in pursuit of their education.
