Sparsh Hospice (Project of Rotary Club of Banjara Hills Charitable Trust) is a centre for palliative care where free of cost symptom care and pain man Read moreagement services are delivered to the terminally ill through a state-of art in-patient & outpatient facility. Our free services are also extended to the needy beneficiaries at their respective homes through 6 fully equipped and staffed homecare vans. We have also started OP clinics on fortnightly basis in the two other districts of Telangana. Our Impact: In the past 13 years, we have impacted the lives of 12,500+ terminally ill patients and their family members. Our work has alleviated the pain and suffering of the patients and supported the family during their most difficulty times.


Issue

According to WHO report less than 4 per cent of needy people in India is being provided palliative and hospice care and other people go through lot of pain due to their illness. Reasons varied such as limited access to centres, economic burden, lower awareness, rising disease burden and other socio economic reasons. Sparsh Hospice stands as a beacon of compassion and support for individuals facing advanced illnesses and the end stages of life. Project through community engagement, educational initiatives, and advocacy efforts, the center strives to dispel the myths surrounding end-of-life care, fostering a society that embraces open conversations about mortality and the importance of quality in life's final chapters.

The vision is to provide exceptional palliative care services, free of cost, to terminally ill patients from all sections of society, while the mission is to render differential palliative care service to add value and provide comfort in the end-of-life days of terminally ill patients.

    Sparsh Hospice is a palliative care center based out in Hyderabad providing free symptom management and pain relief services to terminally ill patients through state-of-the-art facility. Our aim is to increase the quality of life of the terminally ill patients and their family members by providing physical, psychological, social and spiritual care.

    So far, our efforts have positively impacted over 12500+ direct beneficiaries, with 80% of them being individuals affected by cancer.

Milestones & Track Record

Sparsh Hospice has moved to a new 60,000 sq ft facility with 82 beds, including 10 beds for children's palliative care and 10 single rooms, equipped with amenities like an amphitheater, dining hall, library, physiotherapy room, auditorium, and a landscaped garden.
