Meraki, a social impact initiative, collaborates with parents from underprivileged backgrounds, empowering them to enhance their involvement in their Read morechildren's learning at home and school. The genesis of Meraki stems from the diverse experiences of parents who haven't experienced formal education themselves, yet strive to chart a different life trajectory for their offspring. Meraki's influence extends to 800 parents, involving 5000 hours of community engagement, 90 school workshops, and home-based activities in underserved areas of Delhi. Its approach entails a multifaceted strategy encompassing content, training, and technology, addressing three pivotal elements: alleviating parental stress, fostering essential life skills in youngsters, and nurturing responsive parent-child bonds. Collectively, these layers form a cohesive solution to enhance relationships and child development outcomes within low-income households. Its focus lies on elevating educational quality in India by supporting caregivers in economically challenged communities, consequently ameliorating the prospects of unprepared and disadvantaged school entrants.
