NGSF’s objective is to facilitate agro-forestry project development that can enhance the growth potential and yield from agro-forestry practices. NGS Foundation aims to promote biodiesel plantation in Andhra Pradesh. It has conducted Awareness Building Workshops, Training Camps, & Exposure Visits to provide technical support to farmers. NGS Foundation works to build farmers' knowledge and capacity, identify farmers to carry out activities as per calendar, ensure timely payments from bans, and sensitize farmers, banks, government representatives, and NGOS, securing their support and contribution to ensure the Biodiesel program is implemented on time. Through its programs, NGSF aims to provide a sustainable source of income and employment in rural areas, thus improving the economy and quality of life in rural India. NGSF established the Biodiesel Production Centre at Aditya Birla Grameena Vikas Trust. This Jatropha Plantation uses improved cultivation and post-harvest methods, generating rural employment. It also established the Centre for Integrated Rural Development (CIRD) at GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, working on the standardization of biodiesel production technology using inedible oil seeds such as Pongamia and Jatropha. NGSF established the Clonal Propagation Centre at Central Prison, Visakhapatnam, for the propagation of plants species (Casuarina, Eucalyptus clones) using Green House Technology, in order to help prisoners and supply Casuarina junghuhniana clones to JK Paper Ltd., Rayagada (Odisa), and ITC Paper Board Ltd., Bhadrachalam (A.P.). It established the Centre for Integrated Development of Horticulture (CIDH) at Central Prison, Visakhapatnam for Production & Cultivation of Horticulture Crops in order to help prisoners. NGSF established the Centre for Integrated Development of Horticulture (CIDH) at Nrusimha Vanam of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy (SVLNS) Devasthanam,Simhachalam, Visakhapatnam for Production & Cultivation of Horticulture Crops. This centre also acts as a Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) for skill development in the agricultural sector to boost training for farmers in the latest farming technologies. It also established the Horticulture Produce & Consumer Linkage (HPC Linkage) Centre for marketing vegetables, fruits & flowers. This HPC Linkage Centre acts as a Skill Development Centre in the agricultural sector.
