It works in the following sectors: financial services, agriculture, health, energy, and livelihoods. In the financial sector, Intellecap aims to develop technological innovation to improve efficiency and productivity, help MSME (micro, small, and medium enterprises) grow, raise capital, and create risk management processes for the MSMEs. In the agricultural sector, the organization links farmers to the market, sources capital, and increases access to agricultural financing to improve productivity. It also engages in policy advocacy and research. The organization's work in the health sector includes facilitating partnerships between public and private health institutions, helping implement and scale technological innovations, improving access to health financing, and helping procure capital. In the energy sector, Intellecap works to scale energy-based applications in rural areas, identify energy-efficient appliances, improve access to finance, and source capital for energy-based enterprises. Intellecap also works in the livelihood sector, and helps improve investments in women-led enterprises, works to provide access to technical skills, links enterprises to markets, and helps scale micro-enterprises. It also engages in advocacy and research to help create a network of strategic information, in addition to helping source capital. The organization provides enterprise support, consulting services, capital advisory services, and an international network through the Sankalp Forum. Intellecap provides support to enterprises in the form of advise on developing products and services, technical assistance and capacity building, and connection to appropriate capital. It also provides consulting services to public, private, and civil organizations. It provides guidance in transforming businesses, accessing toolkits, assessing impact, designing and implementing programs, discovering opportunities, and researching future trends. The organization connects corporations to capital by raising grant capital, finding early-stage investors, raising capital through equity from various funds, raising debt, advising companies in mergers and acquisitions, and providing corporate finance advisory. Its Sankalp Forum has connected over 500 investors to 1500+ social enterprises through more than 18 conventions, through which it has established a network of 30,000+ stakeholders. The Sankalp Forum engages governments, corporations, and platforms like the G8 and G20, media, and others. It has also led to the launch of Impact Investors Council, Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN), and Intellecap Impact Investment Network (I3N). Intellecap Impact Investment Network (I3N or I-cube-N) is a network of international impact investors who unite to co-invest in impact enterprises across India and East Africa. It aims to connect international investors to domestic investors. I3N has over 480+ investors across India and East Africa, with investing interests in India, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda, and has made over 45 investments. StartUpWave is a virtual pre-incubation and incubation platform. Its goal is to serve more entrepreneurs and enterprises in smaller towns or rural areas by provding the physical support of an incubation platform online. PRISM is an assessment and reporting platform to be used by impact funds, investors, governments, and enterprises to measure the impact of their initiatives. The platform aims to increase transparency and accountability when measuring social impact. Creditree provides access to information, mentorship, and debt-financing support through a network of partners to women entrepreneurs. It unites institutions such as women associations or other experts to work together to provide assistance to women entrepreneurs. In total, Intellecap has impacted more than 30 countries and has enabled enterprises to access more than $400 million in total.

Its goal is to provide the infrastructure necessary for India's circular textile and apparel innovations to be found, supported and scaled up. The goal of the approach is to spread impact by giving innovators access to resources such as networks, finance, and knowledge at every stage of their development.

StartUpWave is a virtual pre-incubation and incubation platform that seeks to increase the diversity of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the number of entrepreneurs it can serve. It intends to connect businesses with smaller towns and rural areas outside of metropolises, expand up incubation capacity to serve more entrepreneurs, and make better use of limited resources to deliver high-quality business support.
