The mission of I-Saksham is to ensure the "Voice and Choice for every woman in Bihar". "Voice and Choice for every woman in Bihar" refers to the empowerment and agency of women in the state. It signifies the right of women to have a voice, express their opinions, make decisions, and have control over their own lives. It emphasizes the importance of women being able to participate actively in society, exercise their rights, and have equal opportunities and choices in various aspects of life, including education, career, relationships, and decision-making processes. By advocating for voice and choice, i-Saksham aims to create an environment where women are not only heard but also respected and valued for their perspectives and contributions. It involves challenging traditional gender roles and societal norms that restrict women's autonomy, mobility and choices and working towards a society where women have the freedom and support to make decisions that shape their lives. Ultimately, promoting voice and choice for every woman in Bihar means recognizing and affirming the inherent dignity, rights, and capabilities of women and ensuring that they have the power and agency to lead fulfilling lives on their own terms.
