Vidya Integrated Development for Youth and Adults (VIDYA), a 37-year-old NGO, has directly benefitted over 4.5 lakh children, youth and women working Read morewith the motto Educate. Empower. Transform. We have 200+ projects that includes VIDYA schools, beyond school education in govt. schools, livelihood and skill training for youth and women, digital literacy program in schools and communities for children, youth & women. Our projects are spread across Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Pune, Goa and Bangalore. The groundwork for a better life lies in education. It is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. We strive every day to provide high quality education, empowerment, opportunities and second chances to children, youth and women. Our work enables individuals to dream big, achieve their goals and create the social change they want to see in the world. Ensuring employability and building capacity are the VIDYA ethos. Our students are confident, capable and ambitious, and they learn skills that enable them to be productive members of a fast-evolving global society. VIDYA dreams of seeing an India where every child gets quality education, every youth an opportunity to succeed, and every woman achieves economic and social independence.

Our Work With the vision “To be the fountainhead for empowering and transforming lives through education” VIDYA works intensively through holistic education models in three major areas; CHILDREN: Education for poor children through VIDYA K-12 School & VIDYA Bal Vihar Primary School, Beyond School program in Govt. schools, School Partnership Program, Public Private Partnership Program, Open Basic Education program and Digital Literacy Program. YOUTH: NIOS Bridge Course (National Institute of Open Schooling) for drop out youth, Scholarship Program to continue education beyond Class X & Class XII, Digital Empowerment Program and Communicative English Program. WOMEN: Digital Saathi Program, Livelihood and Skilling Program for women through women empowerment program. VIDYA’s interventions align with 3 of the 17 goals for sustainable development set by the United Nations; Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being at all ages Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
