Programs

  • Water Bodies Development

Harvesting and preserving water are the cornerstones of any farming enterprise. After the establishment of the fountainhead, all agricultural activities will prosper. This makes more sense in terms of increasing land revenue.

Global Vikas Trust began its campaign in 2018 by addressing the communities of Parli's water security problems. This was accomplished by combining machinery labour with voluntary labour (shramdaan). To work on building farm ponds and lakes, villagers flocked outside in large numbers early in the morning and stayed until late at night. Communities were encouraged to assist using music and dance.

  • 360 Degree Rural Development

This program is dedicated to fostering sustainable growth and self-reliance in rural communities through women empowerment, micro-enterprise development, and technical skill training. It equips women and young girls with essential skills to enhance their livelihoods, promoting entrepreneurship and financial independence. The initiative also focuses on the empowerment of the girl child, ensuring equal opportunities for education and skill development. Additionally, community events foster social cohesion and awareness, creating a supportive environment for holistic development. Through this program, individuals gain the confidence and resources needed to shape a better future.
