It gives emphasis on developing the c Read moreonfidence, negotiation, presentation and decision-making abilities of the participants. It has supported people with ideas on social issues in the areas of health care, agriculture, water and sanitation, energy, skill development, waste management, education, gender equality, elderly care, disability, gay, lesbian and trans-gender equality, addiction, food and poverty. It is approximately 27 days of learning & support, spread out over nine months, in a cohort of twenty social entrepreneurs in one year at a time. There is no upper age limit for participation in the programme, but in India applicant need to be at least 18 years. It claims over 75 social entrepreneurs have graduated from the learning programmes in India. Many aspiring social entrepreneurs have taken this program from India, United Arab Emirates, Argentina and UK. Partners with IIT, Kanpur, Chattisgarh Administration, Atal Incubation Centre – BIMTECH, Peace Tech Lab and these partners have invested to create and run projects.
