It runs programmes in the field of inclusive education, assistive technology, accessible books and cultural inclusion. It developed network of 203 par Read moretner organisations for support training through technology. Saktek Foundation is its technology providing division. It received National Award by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment for best Institution working for the care of persons with disabilities. Its resource center was awarded the best Institution in Noida in 2009. It has received Limca Book of records in 2019 for audio describing maximum number of films in India. Its technology partners are Daisy DFI, Phoenix Medical Systems Pvt Ltd., Accessible Books Consortium, Assistech and Kritikal. It is supported by Metlife, Hans Foundation, Enable India, Concern, HCL foundation, Global relief initiative, Rotary, Oxigen, Open Solutions and NXP. Awards won are National award by the government of India for a contribution towards community development in the area of disability in 2005, President’s award by former President Mrs Pratibha Patel and Dr Abdul Kalam. IIM Lucknow Lakshmipat Singhania National Leadership award 2008 given by the President of India in 2007, CNN IBN Network 18 Super Idol award in 2010, Sitaram Jindal Foundation award in 2012, NCPEDP Universal Design award was given for his contribution towards making information accessible for the print-impaired in 2012, selected as Ashoka Fellow and recognized as a Social Entrepreneur, 2018 ABC International Excellence award presented to Mr Dipendra Manocha for the commendable work in making print material accessible and Louis International Braille Award in 2019.
