Programs

  • Mangrove Plantation At Indian Sundarbans

The Sundarban Mangrove forest's slow loss has put Kolkata in a high-risk area! A solitary oceanic trench or cyclone has the potential to cause immense damage to the metropolis! It is important to note that mangroves serve as the sea-land interface's natural buffer or shield. It largely shields the mainland from soil erosion and natural disasters. To the extent that we can, we must work together to restore the Sundarbans. You are an accountable Indian citizen. Therefore, as part of the restoration initiative, we would like to extend an invitation to you to join us in the fight and donate money so that we can continue planting mangrove trees in and around the Sundarbans.

  • Mass Awareness on Wildlife and Biodiversity Conservation

Additionally, RBRF frequently hosts conferences, seminars, and workshops across many venues, particularly in educational institutions. In addition, the RBRF-Nature India Group introduced news manage, an e-journal covering global wildlife conservation concerns. The group is currently preparing to create www.natureindian.org, the largest national e-portal for wildlife.

  • support to the ill-fated Tiger Widows of Indian Sundarban

The first nonprofit group to take the lead on an extensive baseline study to find the tiger widows and give them the minimal living support recommended by the FLI (Fundamental Living Index) is RBRF. of which Gosaba (N & S 24 Paraganas) is the block on which RBRF is centered. Around 300 tiger widows are estimated to be dispersed among 50 villages within the Gosaba block, according to the RBRF survey. They are receiving funding from RBRF to the tune of Rs. 1000 per head every month. Therefore, in order to meet the target and carry out this ground-breaking activity for humanity, RBRF needs rupees three lacs per month.
