Impact
During the year 2024–25, Dalit Welfare Association continued its mission to empower marginalized Dalit and tribal communities through education, health awareness, and sustainable livelihood initiatives. Our efforts reached over 200+ families, creating meaningful and measurable change in rural communities. We supported 30 tribal students with scholarships, helping them continue their education without financial barriers. Through our tailoring training program, 50 young women gained livelihood skills and sewing machines, enabling them to earn independently. The cow-rearing livelihood project empowered 40 single women, providing stable income and improved household living standards. Alongside livelihood development, we implemented health awareness programs for 100 families, promoting hygiene, disease prevention, and sanitation practices that significantly improved community well-being. These programs helped reduce preventable illnesses and foster healthier lifestyles. The year also marked strengthened partnerships with NGOs, donors, and community volunteers, allowing us to expand our reach and plan future initiatives such as artisanal skill development and educational quality enhancement. Our collective progress reflects resilience, community participation, and shared commitment toward building dignity, equality, and sustainable livelihoods.
