The Udbhav Public Charitable Trust (UPCT) is committed to improving education in Bihar, a state facing developmental challenges, particularly low literacy rates. UPCT promotes 'inclusive' education, focusing on shared classroom environments for children from diverse backgrounds. In Motihari district, UPCT implements the Teacher Resource Laboratory (TRL) model, which supports children, especially girls, in Science, Technology, English, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines during their foundational years. This initiative aligns with Government priorities, leveraging existing resources and UPCT's technical partnership to drive change. The Udbhav Public Charitable Trust (UPCT) operates a Skills Development Programme across Bihar, spanning all 38 districts. With over 61 centres, 260 trainers, and local associates in multiple states, UPCT collaborates with Government bodies and initiatives, including Bihar Mahadalit Vikash Mission and NSDC. It offers training in IT & ITES, basic computer skills, and a range of trades such as masonry, electrical work, plumbing, mobile repairing, and more.
