Theory of Change

"If the most vulnerable communities have timely access to quality services and interventions, then children and young women will have strong foundations on which to make positive life decisions

If governments and institutions have more effective systems that respond to the needs of the most vulnerable, then children and young women are less likely to be left behind, and unable to realise their potential.
"

Donor Testimonial

K Raheja - We have been associated with Vipla Foundation for many years and have great experience with the organisation. The project that we are doing with them is going well and we are happy to see many girls from marginalised society are getting benefitted through the training centre. The best part of the program is we are reaching to the neediest girls from Navi Mumbai and Mumbai. I wish them all the success in future.

Global Fund to end slavery - Through managing an 18-month anti-trafficking project “Enabling Responsive Justice for Victims of Trafficking in Five Districts of Maharashtra” that my organization funded STCI to implement — in addition to two other projects STCI implements as a consortium — I have witnessed and experienced STCI’s expertise and management capacity, and am assured the organization would well execute this grant opportunity.

STCI has exhibited mastery of the subject area of human trafficking in India with all its facets, has built a strong network and cultivated unique partnerships with the government and civil society stakeholders at all levels, and has executed comprehensive activity programming. Using their strong technical expertise, STCI has worked with some of the most vulnerable populations and has facilitated the collaboration of key duty bearer stakeholders to the benefit of these vulnerable populations. STCI benefits from a strong work ethic among its staff, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances in the operating context.

Additionally, I believe that STCI staff are well-equipped to handle all manner of donor regulations and requirements. Funding for projects that STCI has executed through my organization originated from the United States Government and the United Kingdom Government with stringent requirements. STCI has maintained responsiveness, financial compliance, and high- quality reporting throughout our engagements.

It is with this understanding that I recommend STCI. STCI’s grassroots knowledge, legal expertise, field networks, and collaborative partnerships would be an asset to any effort.
