Besides providing relevant information on water, the solution will also provide data on water quality like acidity, impurities, oxygen content, dissolved metals and presence of micro-organisms through instruments which can work for a long time without too much maintenance and monitoring. Through implementation of such solutions Kritsnam aims to enable management of water resources in turn enabling accurate and rationed irrigation to fields and supply to households. It is also working to reduce human interference in communication using machine to machine models.

Kritsnam's vision is to ensure sustainable utilization of freshwater resources and transform water users into water custodians through data-driven water management solutions.

Kritsnam has expanded to over 25 states and 82 cities in India, with a growth rate of over 200% each year.
