Badlaav Social Reform Foundation has been active since 2019. It conducts educational seminars and training sessions to bring about positive changes in Read more society. It runs projects like Project SAKSHAM and Project Zero Waste to promote empathy, inclusion, and sustainability. Impact

Since 2020, Badlaav has educated 1,500 individuals on menstrual health management, distributed over 2,750 cloth pads, and provided more than 100 menstrual cups, each lasting a minimum of three and ten years, respectively.

Programs

  • SAKSHAM Programme

    District

    It launched Project SAKSHAM in August 2020, addressing menstrual health and education in lower-income communities. By distributing sustainable menstrual products and offering educational sessions, it aims to combat period poverty and stigma. The Community Mobilisation Model, implemented in 2022, trains local educators to continue this work sustainably, with two mobilisers currently active in Pune, reaching hundreds with essential support and education on menstrual hygiene management.
