It works on the principles to create strategic multi partner alliances, Identify and encourage innovations, Ensure affordable health services, sustenance of schemes. It has helped the various state governments in handling the Covid-19 crisis by setting up a team of professionals who provided health care to people with flu like symptoms, Calling centres which called up on registered expectant mothers to keep updated about their health status. It also helped with the vaccination drives by mobilising medical resources, trained healthcare professionals on the Covid-19 prevention and care and distributed masks, sanitizers to poor communities. Digital Health and Wellness Centers
LEHS|WISH Digital Health and Wellness Centers (d-HWC) are designed to provide comprehensive primary healthcare solutions, aligned with Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) 2012 and the National Health Policy 2017. Leveraging innovation and technology, these centers aim to bridge primary healthcare gaps, especially in remote areas, by delivering digitally equipped healthcare services to marginalized populations. Supported by government resources, d-HWCs offer essential primary care services, including telehealth, Electronic Health Records, ePrescriptions, and medicine dispensing, addressing accessibility, availability, and affordability challenges. Recognized for its innovation, this model received the "Innovation in Healthcare" Award from Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, underscoring its effectiveness in enhancing healthcare delivery and access.
