Cupable, as a forward-thinking organisation, aims to revolutionize daily consumption habits with a focus on putting people at the heart of its busines Read mores. It offers smart packaging designed for everlasting use, eliminating pollution and waste generation. The core challenge it addresses is the widespread issue of single-use packaging and product waste, a growing threat to the planet. In a world where disposable items are increasingly consumed, only a small fraction gets recycled. A substantial portion ends up polluting oceans or is improperly disposed of through burning or burial. Cupable challenges this "take-make-waste" mindset and promotes a circular economy where products are kept in use for as long as possible, reducing resource wastage. Cupable's approach to packaging recognizes that sustainability is not solely about materials but about creating sustainable systems. While alternatives like metal, glass, and bio-plastics exist, each has its limitations. Cupable conducts a comprehensive life cycle analysis of its products, ensuring responsible handling through reuse and upcycling. It offers a promising path towards a more sustainable future where everything you use is managed conscientiously within a circular economy.

Impact

Cupable has made an impact with over 5 million single-use disposables saved, more than 70 restaurants transitioning to zero-waste practices, over 50 events joining the reusable movement, and a singular Earth that it diligently strives to protect.

Programs

  • Cupable Programme

    District

Cupable, India's pioneering cup brand, is dedicated to combatting single-use packaging by designing, producing, and recycling eco-friendly drinkware. With a vision to eliminate single-use waste, it harnesses technology to create trackable, reusable products, fostering a sustainable circular economy for the future.

  • Zero Programme

    District

Cupable's "Zero Programme" is an environmental initiative with a clear goal: replacing single-use takeaway packaging with reusable alternatives. Through a network of restaurants, it promotes shared usage of packaging, reducing resource consumption and waste. This innovative concept operates similarly to bike sharing but for food and beverage packaging. Customers request their meals in "Boxables," pay a deposit along with the meal cost, and then simply rinse and return the packaging to any cafe within the network to receive a refund, encouraging a cycle of reuse.

  • Refillable Programme

    District

Cupable's "Refillable" programme introduces an innovative smart-tech system focused on combating plastic pollution. It dispenses home and personal care products into reusable containers, significantly reducing plastic waste. This initiative strategically places free kiosks at qualifying residential and retail locations and collaborates with manufacturers willing to offer their products through refill. To enhance convenience, customers are encouraged to subscribe to automatic product refills and returns, contributing to a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to consumption.
