Vesatogo is working to bring optimisation of resources in the agricultural supply chain specifically the logistics component. It has developed an a Read morepplication which can be downloaded by the farmer, transporters, resource providers to aid them in availing and optimising use of vehicles that carry produce to the market or destination. The mobile application displays the list of resources available nearby to the farmer who can then book his required resource online. It also facilitates booking of vehicles to transport produce to its destination reducing the trouble of paperwork or calling up. Vehicle owners and transporters get a clear picture of bookings on their vehicles so that they can efficiently manage their operations. The application enables tracking of vehicles as they are travelling and supports re-routing of any vehicle which is seen to be partially loaded increasing proper usage of the vehicle. Since the farmer can also view the location of the vehicle he/she is better able to honour promised dates to the consumer. Its application also provides reports and analytics over a period of time so that management of stocks, fleets and storage can be done competently.
