It also encourages women co-operatives like MahilaBachat Gat to be part of its supply-chain thereby contributing to women empowerment. Its philosophy is to promote “Eat Nutritious – stay strong”. Since a farmer cannot directly come into the city and start selling his wares due to many reasons, the organisation facilitates this by maintaining an online website where consumers can place their orders, which are passed on to the farmers who in turn provide the necessary products which are delivered to the consumer’s doorstep. It helps farmers by giving them access to a good market with wide reach. Amounts are credited directly to their accounts, seeds and fertilizers are provided as required, information about crops and weather are shared regularly, encouraging soil and water testing by providing necessary information.
