This product has been designed keeping in mind that Indian schools lack basic infrastructure like chairs and tables. Deskit helps to address the issues of difficulty in writing, bad body posture, poor eyesight and other health issues in school going children. The organisation has managed to take deskit to more than seventeen thousand students across ten states in India and has plans to extend its product to thirty million students all across India. It is providing employment to local women in Kanpur and Hardoi regions. These women are engaged to stitch and manufacture the bag which results in women empowerment and livelihood opportunities. Its product indirectly also motivates children to attend school regularly due to the convenience and benefits it provides. The organisation maintains an online website where its products can be ordered. It is looking to partner with Government and social organisations to help sponsor and distribute the product since it is a bit on the costlier side.
