Teachers Help Teachers is involved in getting teachers all over the country to get together and share good teaching practices to benefit children in b Read moreetter learning. It started as a facebook group with a small number of teachers. It now provides an online website where the member teachers can interact with each other and has 15000 plus members. The website helps teachers to get up-to-date with latest teaching practices. The teachers who wish to enrol into the website are methodically screened by an expert panel before they are registered into the site. The teachers are encouraged by the organisation to share teaching practices that they have gained by experience on the website which is made available for free or can be offered for downloading by other members for a fee. This fee helps the teachers to earn an income for sharing their expertise. It is also involved in getting employment opportunities for its members and has managed to place 70 teachers in various educational institutions. Its plan is to create an online library of good teaching practices and be a national reference point for teachers. Its members have been nominated and also won awards in the Edustar awards 2018 and 2019.
