The work of remote consultation and diagnosis is made easy by using integrated platforms avoiding necessity of additional software and hardware components. All the data generated is stored in the cloud making it easily accessible anywhere, anytime. Since a doctor cannot travel to remote areas and also serve urban customers at the same time, Karma Healtcare has established digitally enabled clinics in remote areas. The doctor can connect over digital media and examine patients from the city itself, diagnosis and medical help can be provided online. This facility is of great help in these times of the pandemic where even the urban population can connect to doctors from the comfort of their homes and can schedule consultations. Regular outreach programmes are held by the organisation in rural and far off areas to share messages of importance through video/audio platforms. It has a volunteer team of fifteen people who are dedicated to reach the rural audience and advice or set up consultations for malnutrition, family planning and cases of anemia. Partnering with Smile Foundation, It has provided the digital set-ups in their mobile clinics to reach very remote areas and emergency response is being made possible through this service. Karma Healthcare has managed to improve the health of ninety eight percent of the women It treated, ninety percent of patients could get back to work faster due to timely treatment, The beneficiaries saved double money over what they would usually spend going to the city for consultation, quality care increased to ninety four percent from the earlier sixty two percent.
