Sprouts

Sprouts is a group of passionate individuals led by eminent wildlife biologist and conservationist, Anand Pendharkar. It provides environmental consul Read moretations and eco-tourism services with an aim to promote awareness and conservation of nature. It organises nature trails, camps and treks to popular nature spots and also conducts online sessions about nature and wildlife conservation. Sprouts partnered with RD&SH National College (Nature Club), Bandra, Mumbai and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES-India), to co-organise the first and second International Sustainability Conference respectively. The conferences aimed to work on four themes of Energy, Resources, Communities and Policy. It intended to bring together youth, students, leading scientists, policymakers and members representing various socio-economic levels of the community, to develop a common flexible model and prepare to counter the effects of climate change. It also maintains a website with nature friendly products for purchase in an effort to promote such items which are in accordance with nature and leads to sustainable and responsible living.
