It encompasses various goals, including protecting animals from harm, promoting animal welfare, fostering the human-animal relationship, instilling humanitarian values, and aiding the sick, injured, exploited, handicapped, and starved. With 31 years of experience, it is one of the country's oldest animal welfare organisations. It operates seven centres in Bangalore, each addressing different causes. The Trauma & Rescue Centre offers free medical care for community animals, while the Geriatric Centre serves as a permanent retirement home for blind and senior dogs. The Large Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre rescues abandoned, sick and injured large working animals. The Sarjapur Spay & Neuter Centre sterilizes dogs outside BBMP Limits, and the Second Chance Adoption Centre finds new homes for abandoned pets. CUPA also operates a Community Cat Sterilization Facility and a Small Animal Specialty Hospital, providing advanced pet care and grooming, with funds directed towards rescue efforts and rehabilitation shelters.

  • CUPA Large Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation

    CUPA's Large Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre focuses on providing aid and shelter to working animals, including cows, buffaloes, donkeys, horses, and others. These animals are often abandoned when they become injured or ill and are no longer economically beneficial to their owners. The centre has treated a significant number of animals, totalling 86,489 cases. Moreover, the centre allows visits and provides opportunities for weekend volunteering, allowing individuals to contribute to the welfare of these animals.

  • CUPA Small Animal Speciality Hospital

    The CUPA Small Animal Specialty Hospital is a modern facility offering comprehensive veterinary care for pets. With a skilled team of veterinarians, it provides a range of services from cosmetic procedures to medical surgeries. The hospital also offers housing and post-operative care facilities. Over the years, it has treated a significant number of animals, totalling 398,121. Its services include vet consultations, grooming, sterilization, vaccinations, diagnostic imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, ECG), blood tests, surgeries, trauma care, and a pet shop with a pharmacy.

  • CUPA Mylappanahalli Geriatric Centre

    The CUPA Mylappanahalli Geriatric Centre serves as a compassionate retirement home for senior canines who are sick, injured, or blind. These dogs are unable to be released back to their neighbourhoods as they lack the ability to care for themselves. The centre provides a nurturing environment and specialized care for these elderly canines, ensuring they live out their remaining years with comfort and dignity.

    CUPA has introduced impactful campaigns that offer sponsorship opportunities. One such initiative involves sponsoring meals at the CUPA Large Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre, providing nourishment for large working animals like cows, bulls, and goats. Another opportunity is to sponsor meals at the CUPA Geriatric Centre, which houses over 60+ blind and handicapped senior dogs in need of ongoing care. Additionally, contributions to the trauma and rescue centre can support free medical, surgical, and post-operative care for injured, sick, or abandoned animals.

  • CUPA Trauma & Rescue Centre

    The CUPA Trauma & Rescue Centre offers free medical aid to sick or injured community/street animals, providing both IPD (In-Patient Department) and OPD (Out-Patient Department) facilities. The centre also offers ambulance services for animal pick-ups, subject to availability. It has treated a significant number of animals, with a total of 149,606 cases attended to.
