Horticulture Association of Bhutan is a non-profit organisation which plays a crucial role in horticultural development and environmental restoration. Read more It initiates training programs and campaigns in order to disseminate information about the importance of horticulture crops and their different aspects by holding seminars, symposia, conferences, discussions etc. and publishing their proceedings. It propagates and promotes rare useful plants, market economics friendly garden material, provide consultancy service and nursery entrepreneurship. Our association has geared up its activities to take up the challenges as the important centre for the development of horticulture through plants and nature conservation, bringing nature to people, research and development, education, training and information technology. Our association has a vital role in Bhutan’s economy by generating employment, providing raw material to various food processing industries and higher farm profitability due to higher production and export earnings from foreign exchange.
