Success Histories of Organization Taushif Raza is a 9 yrs old Male child of Md. Taslim and Tabassum Ara, who diagnosed as Rickets with Bilateral Gen Read moreu Valgum deformity . He has 2 brother and 1 sister. In December 2018 we found him in door to door survey and we aware about GRIRR Service and cancelling with mother about Rehabilitation service of GRIRR. In last week of December 2018 Endolite company has organized a free orthopedic camp in GRIRR supported by ISHWAR( International Society for Human Welfare And Rehabilitation) and they selected taushif for corrective surgery . His father work as labour and earn Rs 200/-month ,his family background is very poor as they are 6 person staying in one small room . They didn’t taken any treatment as they cannot afford the cost. In January 2019 he had gone under corrected surgery by ISHWAR followed by PHYSIOTHERAPY & Orthosis management .Now the deformity corrected 99% and as per his mother, she was very happy and said “ before he we’re not able to do prayer as he is not able to fold the Legs which is also very difficult to him during toileting. But now he is using toilet without any difficulty and even he is doing 5 times prayer every day. Pooja Shaw is a 6 yrs old female child of Binod Shaw and Chanda devi who diagnosed as Rickets with Bilateral Genu Varum deformity. She has 6 brother and she is the youngest girl child. His father work as labour in kite shop and earn 1000/- week. In October 2017 Pooja came to GRIRR, before they were taking treatment from the other rehabilitation NGO but as they closed the center so they got to know about GRIRR. Our physiotherapist assessed her and plan intervention and Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP) which includes:- 1) Calcium & vitamin D3 medicines 2) Physiotherapy 3) Orthosis 4) Diet plan 5) Home based management. Her father was the main taking care of the child and he we’re very positive to her disability. He followed all the steps as physiotherapist thought him Now Pooja deformity has corrected 100% and his father said” I always see my child while going school and feel very happy and pray for you all and those children who has disability. I lost my hope that my child can be cure but after coming to GRIRR I started hoping the best for my child”. Afsheen Parveen Afsheen is a 3 years old child who diagnosed as CP Spastic Diplegia at GRIRR in 2018. She is the 1st & the Only child of Nafisul Hasan and Kulsum tabassum. In the beginning her parents were so depressed because they are not aware with any disability condition, even the mother never accepted that she has disability called Cerebral palsy. As per her mother afsheen is sick for some days after she will be fine as other children Parents were taking treatment from a Private Hospital. They got to know about GRIRR in 2018 from our one of Beneficiary. Afsheen were not able to sit without support and she use to lying all the time at home. Her parents & family are very supportive. After the assessment we plan IRP Goal, she comes for physiotherapy regularly as well as we Teached them some home base therapy.In the Month of April 2018 we provided her Corner seat , asked them to use regularly The present status : she is able to sit without support for 5 to 6 mint under supervision. And slowly parents are accepting her disability after seeing the different condition at GRIRR and they are very positive to her condition. Parents wants to admit her in School as soon as she starts sitting without support.
