Spark A Change Foundation works to empower and enable school going children from economically challenged communities with access to quality education, Read more life skills and values through a dedicated group of individuals. Its programmes are distinguished into In-house and After-school. The former includes English teaching programmes, in-school learning support, a free community preschool, scholarships for higher education and thorough coaching for higher secondary education while the latter consists of rigorous coaching for students of class 8 through 12, career guidance, vocational skills, basic numeracy and literacy skills, sports, arts, science and life skill sessions, learning through field trips and nutrition support.

Programs

Curricular Programme
Includes pure academic support by volunteers preparing the children through their primary classes up to the board levels. It features the Anviksha School Programme, Foundational Learning Programme, Board Ready Programme, Youth Empowerment Programme and its in-school support programme.

Co-Curricular Programme
Focuses on skill sets other than academics to hone the child’s thinking and socio-emotional development. The programme includes Computer Literacy, Career Guidance and Exposure, Sports Education, Theatre, Arts and Crafts and Socio-Emotional Learning sessions. These activities are aimed at enabling the children to recognise their strengths and set themselves up to achieve their ambitions.

Snack Up Programme
The Spark A Change Foundation ensures that every child under its guidance is provided nutrition and a daily supplement in the form of poha, upma, idli, veg pulao and chikki-kela including seasonal fruits. This ensures the success of its programmes as the children belong to marginalised communities which otherwise can barely manage one square meal a day.
