Its goal is to provide equal opportunities for students to access higher education and achieve their full potential in their chosen careers. it hopes to impact the lives of 5000 students from rural and tribal backgrounds who are economically disadvantaged and educationally deprived. To achieve this goal, the Foundation operates Youth Resource Centres in underdeveloped districts, providing students with valuable information, mentoring, and coaching. The organisation recognizes that providing students from historically marginalized communities with access to higher education can help reduce inequality and improve social mobility. It is committed to easing access to higher education and leadership opportunities through its work with rural and tribal students, offering them the support and guidance they need to succeed. Its founder has received several awards and recognitions, including being nominated as CNN India of the Year 2022, receiving the Chevening Scholarship from the Foreign Commonwealth Department UK and being recognized as Forbes 30 under 30 among India's most influential young people. The foundation has also been featured in news articles in “The Print” and “TOI” for its efforts in placing first-generation learners from underprivileged communities into top institutes.

Through its Youth Resource Centres, the Foundation has reached over 25,000 students, engaged 350 volunteer mentors, and provided over 500,000 hours of mentoring and coaching. Over 700 students have been admitted to prestigious universities and fellowship programs and 60+ students have enrolled in tier 1/2 colleges and universities. It has lifted over 300 alumni families out of poverty and has established 10 strategic partnerships while operating three residential coaching centres across 25 states.

Youth Resource Centres
This organisation runs Youth Resource Centers (YRCs) in underprivileged areas to provide low-cost training programmes to rural and tribal students. The YRCs offer a combination of online and offline courses and are equipped with digital resources. Local institutes partner with the organisation to run these centres.

After 12th Career Guidance Workshop
Eklavya offers a three-day workshop for 12th-pass students to provide free personal guidance on higher education opportunities, including admission, college, hostel, scholarship, and other processes. The workshop fee is Rs. 300, with concessions for needy students. The programme includes interactive sessions, group discussions, and games, and aims to help rural tribal students.

TISS APU Mentoring Programme
Partnering with TISS and APU, Eklavya is offering a mentoring programme to help students prepare for the interview stage of their Masters admission process. The programme includes interactive sessions, course-wise mentoring, one-to-one mentoring, and support in writing and reviewing the Detailed Application Form (DAF) or Statement of Purpose (SOP). Participants also receive mock interviews and feedback from current TISS/APU students and alumni.
