Its members, known as Lions and Lionesses, uphold values of liberty, Intelligence, and safety while working towards various causes such as literacy, vocational training for women and unemployed youth, and support for physically challenged individuals. It also offers free medical services such as eye, blood sugar and pressure check-ups, and cataract surgery. Additionally, it promotes sports among children to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle. Through their commitment and service, the Lions Club of Chakdignagar strives to make a positive impact in the lives of those around them.

Clothes Distribution Programme
The Club under its humanitarian initiatives conducts clothes distribution drives. It organised such a drive in its nearby district by the name of “Hate Bazar” and dispensed clothes to 30 people from the low-income group.

Opening of Ashok Vani Auditorium
It helps to create spaces for promoting culture and people to congregate, to this end, it built and inaugurated “Ashok Vani” within its sports village premises and dedicated it to the people. Prominent members of the organisation also shared tips to guide adolescents with the people present in the ceremony.

Food Distribution Programme
The organisation arranged to distribute food to the people suffering from hunger and malnutrition around the area of its premises. It managed to feed 270 destitute people during the programme.

Dengue Eradication Programme
The club in its bid to eliminate cases of dengue in the underprivileged population undertook the distribution of mosquito nets to provide a defence against mosquitoes.

Asian International Youth Summit
The organisation hosted the Asian International Youth Summit at its premises where besides Indian representatives, 50 individuals from neighbouring countries of Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan participated. The participants were exposed to workshops, traditional events, social matters, economic and environmental concerns and discussed on mutual co-operation.

Facilitation of Cataract Surgery
It arranged for cataract surgery for 2 local families who were struggling to collect finances for the operation. It facilitated the complete activity of getting tests done and overseeing the surgery at no cost to the poor families
