Snehalaya which means "Home of Love" is an Institute for Children with Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Disabilities which is situated in a developing city Read more called Wagholi, Pune. Snehalaya is governed by the Snehalaya Education Society. It started in the year 1996. The purpose of this institute is to care for, educate and rehabilitate children and Adults with Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Disabilities mainly focusing on the poor and orphans. Snehalaya runs a special School up to STD 12th and a Rehabilitation Center with 6 spacey Workshops for the training and empowerment of the Differently abled irrespective of their caste, creed or Religion. Snehalaya Special School: It is up to Standard X11th with the NIOS syllabus. The Students here have access to various facilities like physiotherapy, Speech therapy, Occupational therapy and pre-vocational training. Snehalaya Rehabilitation Center: This Center has spacious workshops to give job training to differently-abled above the age of 18. Our skilled staff trains these students in various skills like Computers, Printing, candle making and making various handicraft items.
