Ishwar Charitable Trust was established in 1982 to provide Charitable eye services to the under privileged. ICARE Eye Hospital and PG Institute starte Read mored in 1993 with 10 beds, staff strength of 10 and doing approximately 1000 surgeries. In our 29 years of existence , we at ICARE Eye Hospital have touched the lives of 43.70 lakhs by eye screening and restored eye sight of 3.50 lakhs patients till March, 2022 ICARE has achieved these figures through its strong outreach programme, where we organize screening camps at specific areas in various villages at regular intervals. Patients selected for surgery undergo diabetes and hypertension screening; those willing for surgery are brought to the hospital for further investigation and surgery. The entire process- investigation, surgery (including IOL), transportation to and fro from the village, food and lodging and post operative care for these patients is free of cost.
Action
ICARE conducts extensive outreach programs, arranging around 900 screening camps annually and treating approximately 150,000 people for eye diseases, while performing about 15,000 surgeries per year, either free or at highly subsidized costs.

ICARE's mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive eye care services to all, especially the underprivileged rural population, while also offering postgraduate education and training in ophthalmology.

Rural Outreach Programme
StateOffers cutting-edge ophthalmic services to rural residents in Delhi's shantytowns as well as the states of Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Using a hub-and-spoke model, the organisation selects and brings surgical patients from urban slums and remote Rural Peripheral Centers (RPCs) to the base hospital in NOIDA and Greater NOIDA, where they receive free, high-quality pre-and post-operative care.
