The Neemrana Music Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Western Classical Music in India. The foundation aims to provide edu Read morecation and training to young musicians and singers with musical talent, helping them to grow and develop in the field of opera. The foundation's goal is to mould these talented individuals into professional artists, capable of performing Western classical music at a high level.  One of the most inspiring aspects of the foundation's work is its commitment to helping lesser privileged kids. Since 2010, the foundation has been providing training and education to students from the Blind Relief Association in New Delhi and NAB India Centre for Blind Women & Disability Studies. These students face unique challenges, but the foundation is committed to helping them overcome these obstacles and achieve their dreams. Through special training sessions with noted voice coach Jasmin Martorell from France, these students can receive the highest level of education and training available.  In addition to its work with the Blind Relief Association and NAB India Centre for Blind Women & Disability Studies, the foundation also provides violin classes for underprivileged kids from Sanjay Camp in Delhi. This initiative is a true testament to the foundation's mission to provide education and training opportunities to young people, regardless of their background or circumstances. These kids are given the chance to learn and grow, and the foundation is providing them with the tools they need to succeed in the world of Western classical music. In 2014, Priya Wacziarg put together a tribute to her father's lifetime accomplishments in the form of an Opera Gala. This event featured excerpts from the nine operas created by Francis Wacziarg throughout his life. The Opera Gala was a visual spectacle, with over 400 costumes designed by Indian designers, three ballet troupes, and 150 talented artists. All of the solo performers at the event were Indians who had received training from The Neemrana Music Foundation over the years. Overall, the Neemrana Music Foundation plays a vital role in promoting and preserving Western classical music in India, by providing education, training, and performance opportunities to young musicians and singers. By doing so, the foundation helps to ensure that the rich tradition of Western classical music continues to thrive in India for generations to come.
