As per the National Programme for Control of Blindness (NPCB), India harbours a third of the global visually impaired population. Despite the significant issue of preventable blindness, studies reveal that only a fraction of those requiring treatment actually seek it. The Hospital initiated "Project Disha," an eye care community endeavour aiming to proactively assist these patients directly in their communities instead of relying on them to seek treatment at hospitals.
The objective is to eliminate 'Avoidable Blindness' by providing essential eye care services to underserved communities. Within Project Disha, the Hospital ensures the entire eye care journey for patients is covered financially, relieving them of any economic burden. Conducting preemptive check-ups for individuals and effectively managing their entire treatment process lies at the heart of Project Disha's mission.

This fellowship aims to provide a well-rounded, evidence-based, and patient-centred education and training in arthroplasty. The fellow enrolled in this program will progressively undertake responsibilities within the operating room and outpatient department. This hands-on approach allows for observation and experiential learning, fostering a scientific method for treating arthritic patients. Through this immersive experience, fellows evolve to develop comprehensive treatment plans encompassing pre-operative assessments, implant selection, surgical methodologies, and post-operative care.

The DNB Emergency Medicine programme spans a 3-year post-MBBS graduate course accredited by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS). Aspiring students can pursue a seat in this program by participating in centralized counselling after successfully clearing and securing the requisite rank in the NEET PG exam.
Emergency Medicine stands as an interdisciplinary specialty, distinct for its comprehensive coverage of pre-hospital and in-hospital resuscitation and management of urgent and emergency cases. It further involves a profound understanding of emergency medical system development and the requisite skills for fostering such advancements.
KD Hospital conducts an extensive Emergency Medicine program designed to equip students with the essential skills necessary to deliver highly efficient and top-quality emergency care. The training provided aims to streamline patient waiting times in Emergency Departments.

• Certified course in Operation Theatre Technology, Eligibility: Minimum 10 + 2 (science), Duration of the Course: 1 year + 6 months Internship.
• Certified course in ECG, ECHO & TMT Technology, Eligibility: Minimum 10 + 2 (science), Duration of the Course: 1 year + 6 months Internship
• X-ray/ USG /CT Scan & MRI Technology, Eligibility: Minimum Science Graduate (B.Sc. with physics Preferable), Duration of the Course: 1 year + 6 months Internship
• Certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology, Eligibility: Minimum Science Graduate (B.Sc. with Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry Preferable), Duration of the Course: 1 year + 6 months Internship
• Certified course in Dialysis Technology, Eligibility: Any Graduate (B.Sc., Nursing, GNM, ANM Preferable), Duration of the Course: 1 year + 6 months Internship
