This process helps mitigate the impact of greenhouse gas emissions, which are a leading cause of global warming.   • Documentary Screening Programme

    District

    In partnership with National Geographic and Inox Leisure, GCF organised the screening of "Before the Flood" in India. This compelling documentary, produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, highlights the urgent impact of climate change and emphasizes the actions needed to safeguard the planet. The premiere featured prominent figures like Barack Obama, Elon Musk, and Pope Francis. Decision-makers from various fields, including politics, business, Bollywood, Government, law, and religion, were in attendance, with additional private screenings held for Maharashtra's IPS and IAS associations and CIDCO.

  • Gift a Tree Campaign

    District

    GCF encourages the public to celebrate their birthdays by planting trees. It has provisioned a page on its website to enable people to gift the planting of trees for a token amount to their near and dear ones. Each gifting is accompanied by an e-certificate which shows the number of trees planted, their location and the amount of carbon the trees are offsetting.

  • CSR Programme

    District

    Gaia Conservation Foundation offers corporate entities the opportunity to offset their carbon footprints by planting trees in their respective cities. Through customized planting drives, employees and teams are encouraged to actively engage in climate change awareness while personally planting trees. It provides exhaustive CSR reporting, measuring and reporting on the positive environmental impact of contributions.

  • Green Classrooms Programme

    District

    Gaia Conservation Foundation aims to foster a love for nature among Mumbai's children by organising immersive trips to Sanjay Gandhi National Park(SGNP). As one of the world's largest urban forests, SGNP boasts a unique collection of plant and animal species, making it an ideal educational environment. Through these excursions, kids gain a deep appreciation for nature, comprehend the significance of wildlife and their habitats in the ecosystem, and develop an understanding of climate change and the importance of forest preservation. Accompanied by seasoned wildlife experts, groups of up to 100 schoolchildren embark on these enlightening adventures.
