Situated near Avathi in Devanahalli, Bangalore, CSI houses over 100 dogs, encompassing pups, young adults, and elderly canines. Upholding the belief that all creatures deserve a life free from suffering, the Trust actively prevents cruelty towards animals, aligning with the Bhagwad Gita's ethos of nonviolence towards all living beings. In the past decade, Sharanaksh, through both individual and CSI efforts, has rescued over 1000 dogs, additionally providing 24,000 meals monthly to community dogs. Collaborating with the BBMP during the pandemic, it supported feeding initiatives and welcomed volunteers from VFC. Its mission centres on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals while fostering a compassionate community that respects and cares for all animals, whether domestic or stray. Its vision encompasses a future where these voiceless beings are integral to society, coexisting peacefully with nature and humanity. Its ultimate goal is to alleviate animal suffering, sustain a shelter with top-notch facilities, and contribute to controlling the overpopulation of these animals.

Programs

  • CSR Sponsorship Programmes

CSI invites corporate entities to support their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by partnering to enhance animal welfare in Bangalore. Donations directly aid in rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding homes for street dogs. Such contributions not only impact countless canine lives but also boost a company's reputation, showcasing a commitment to social responsibility. Engaging employees in volunteer work or fundraising fosters teamwork and pride. Financial donations sustain operations and provide medical care, while in-kind donations of dog essentials ensure a comfortable shelter. CSI seeks lasting partnerships, offering tailored collaboration avenues beyond donations, like cause-related marketing or volunteering programmes.
