The organisation actively opposes the practice of breeding and purchasing pets, instead promoting adoption through frequent campaigns. By advocating "Adopt, don't shop," it encourages individuals to adopt rescued animals, discouraging the objectification of animals for commercial purposes.
-
Community Partnership Programme
The local community receives support in diverse animal-related areas, such as veterinary advice for minor medical issues and the implementation of initiatives like street water bowls in the summer. Through active project involvement, it strives to cultivate a strong connection with the community, ultimately seeking enhanced care and treatment for street animals.
-
Vaccination for Rabies Programme
-
Education and Outreach Programme
A transformation in the perception of animals is crucial to tackling animal suffering, as rescue efforts alone cannot accomplish this objective. Visitors and volunteers are encouraged to actively engage with Sarvoham, where organised sessions impart knowledge on the compassionate and proper treatment of street animals. These initiatives aim to cultivate a positive shift in the collective mindset regarding animals.
-
Medical Treatment Programme
Every rescued animal, regardless of age or breed, receives top-quality medical care and attention at Sarvoham. In critical situations, immediate action is taken by approaching the nearest hospital without delay. Stable animals are transported to the shelter, where treatment begins either in the ambulance or at the facility, based on their condition. The clinics are equipped with vital medical equipment, allowing for thorough blood profiling of each animal undergoing treatment.
