Founded in 2019, the trust aims to "improve the quality of life for Ragpicker Children by supporting their cause and care." From Scraps to School: Ed Read moreucation for Child Ragpickers in India. Through a variety of kid-focused initiatives, we offer street children complete care and protection. The Samarpan Social Welfare Trust was established to eradicate social injustice and is devoted to enhancing the lives of the poor and disadvantaged. Our goal is to assist all impoverished children in obtaining an education. Our organisation trains women to become independent and powerful. There are four branches of the Samarpan Social Welfare Trust located in India: Chandigarh, Delhi, Muzaffarpur, and East Champaran (Bihar). Children there receive free education across all of these divisions. Kids are taught the value of education, athletics, mental health, and physical fitness. We do not see young children in villages picking rags because their parents cannot afford to send them to school. It is the contrary in the city, where impoverished families make their children work in garbage or work in a business to get money. The Samarpan Social Welfare Trust assists these families and sees to the children's free education. Additionally, Samarpan Social Welfare Trust offers low-income women lessons in sewing, tailoring, and beauticians so they may support their families financially and become independent.

Impact

Up till now, the Samarpan Social Welfare Trust has provided free education to around 500 children, and 200 children have been enrolled in school. Every year, we hope to improve the lives of 5,000 youngsters. Following their completion of training from Samarpan Social Welfare Trust, 700 women launched their own enterprises.
