The organisation works with the underprivileged in the areas of health, education, the environment, women's empowerment, child development, and community welfare. Manthan has backed Project Accelerate, which aims to reach CLHIV and ALHIV as well as their carers by implementing the OVC programme in rural Pune district areas. The organisation provided health, nutrition, and education assistance to people from three blocks in the Pune district (Junnar, Khed, and Ambegaon) as well as "Chavanprash" to strengthen their immunity during the COVID-19 pandemic. With funding from the Maharashtra State AIDS Control Society (MSACS), the Manthan Foundation is carrying out an HIV prevention, care, and treatment programme for truck drivers and FSWs in Navi Mumbai and Budhwarpeth, Pune. Manthan has provided health camps, IPC sessions, and other project services to 10,000 truck drivers and 2,000 female sex workers annually. Manthan began working with the adolescents in Budhwarpeth last year to raise their standard of living. We are educating them in life skills so they can become independent. Children and teenagers who are continuing their education benefit from this, and their academic performance also improves.
