Issue

Equal education, menstrual hygiene awareness, basic sanitation, healthcare, women safety, infrastructure, LGBTQIA+ equality, waste management, disaster management, prevention of child marriages, prevention of child sexual abuse, and drug de-addiction. What do all these social causes have in common? The common answer is strong and passionate volunteer leaders who are focused on the betterment of society through their work on social causes. According to a report from the ministry of statistics, only 1.5% of India’s population volunteers for some activity or the other. One of the key findings of the survey was that interested individuals had the urge to be socially responsible but they do not know the avenues to look for volunteering opportunities. To overcome this deficit, there is the requirement for a PLATFORM that enables and mentors these interested individuals to become volunteer leaders.
