AIM Foundation works year-round to tackle different issues of Environment. Beside conducting seminars on environment to broaden, educate and activate the environmental movement, tree planation is done every year.

Getting land for tree plantation has been a major challenge to us. To tackle this issue, we have started distributing sapling amongst the villagers.

  • Forest Cleaning

Humans have an innate tendency of not trashing garbage, but littering all over. These bottles, plastics, food packets pose a great threat to the wild animals. Cleaning of the pristine North Bengal Forest with the Forest Department and students of the area is one of our annual programme.

  • Cervical Cancer Awareness and Screening Camps

Cervical cancer is the 3rd most common cancer having an alarming mortality rate. However, it is one of the most preventable and treatable form of cancer, if detected at an early stage.
We conduct informative workshops and distribute educational materials to educate the community about the risks associated with Cervical cancer.
We conduct free screening camps in collaboration with local healthcare providers.
Presently we are also sensitizing the ASHA and Anganwadi Workers block by block of each district.
These initiatives have reached a significant number of women in the community, providing them with vital knowledge about cervical cancer and empowering them to take control of their own health

  • Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Camp

Menstrual Hygiene Awareness is about more than just access to sanitary pads and appropriate toilets – though those are important. It is also about ensuring women and girls live in an environment that values and supports their ability to manage their menstruation with dignity.
