Creating Inclusive Cities / Safe Spaces Programme
The "Creating Inclusive Cities / Safe Spaces" programme by Parcham focuses on addressing the exclusion of women from public spaces. By actively claiming these spaces and making their presence visible, Parcham works towards engaging with the Government to foster inclusive cities. It advocates for young girls' participation in public spaces by practising on open grounds, aiming to establish a new norm. Utilizing its own experiences of struggling to find a safe space for football practice, Parcham successfully lobbied with elected representatives and bureaucrats to allocate land for a dedicated sports ground for young girls. Its objective is to contribute to the discourse on urban planning, promoting justice, inclusivity, and equity in cities.

The ultimate goal is to promote financial independence among individuals, both men and women, by encouraging them to pursue higher education or explore self-employment opportunities.
