The Youth Conservation Action Network (YouCAN) is dedicated to redefining environmentalism. Its primary goal is to inspire millions of young individua Read morels to actively engage in conservation practices and contribute to the protection and restoration of the natural world over the next 25 years. By actively involving itself with local Governments, schools, and communities, the organisation is committed to enhancing the overall well-being of the planet. It is devoted to providing children and youth with authentic ecological and conservation experiences, promoting a deeper understanding and deep appreciation for the environment. Through a combination of short-term and long-term experiential learning programmes, students, youth, and teachers are empowered, inspired, and nurtured to adopt environmentalism as an integral part of their daily lives. Collectively, society possesses the power to revive the health of the planet and its ecosystems by taking proactive measures towards creating a future where environmentalism becomes deeply ingrained in the fabric of society.

The Youth Conservation Action Network has made an impact by training 13 fellows across 9 states, conducting 200 eco-club sessions in schools, and introducing 1635 students to the wonders of nature, nurturing a generation of young environmentalists.

Earth Educators Fellowship
The Earth Educators Fellowship brings together 30 passionate individuals - young volunteers, grassroots conservationists, and dedicated schoolteachers - who share a love for nature education. Together, they embark on an 11-month journey to explore the wonders of the natural world, while also creating immersive learning experiences for students. This fellowship enables them to develop essential skills, forge connections, and foster a community dedicated to making a positive environmental impact within their local area.

Nature Quest @ Rivendell
Nature Quest @ Rivendell is a nature-centric space and community learning centre located in Hulical, Nilgiris, India. Nestled amidst the woods, with a picturesque view of the Western Ghats Mountains, it offers families an opportunity to reconnect with nature and allows children to delve into the marvels of the natural world. By spreading joy and facilitating self-reflection, it aims to instil a deep appreciation for nature in young hearts.

Earth Authors Programme
Earth Authors is a unique mentoring programme in collaboration with the Cogitation Club. It provides middle school students with a one-year opportunity to create children's books based on their conscious exploration of the natural world. Through this process, they gain awareness of environmental challenges like the climate crisis and learn about solutions such as ecosystem restoration and food security. The students' expressions, including writings, artwork, and discussions, are documented to preserve their experiences. Each participant writes, illustrates, and publishes a storybook, contributing to environmental causes.
