Tata STRIVE, an initiative of TCIT (Tata Community Initiatives Trust), is dedicated to bridging the gap between vocational education and industry requ Read moreirements. It operates under the umbrella of Tata Trusts and focuses on skilling youth from underprivileged backgrounds using technology, innovative teaching, and methodology. With two-thirds of India's population being under 35 years old, the country possesses a significant demographic advantage. However, a substantial portion of this population lacks adequate skills for employment. Tata Strive's mission involves skill training for employment, entrepreneurship, or community enterprise, as well as collaborating to raise standards in the skill development ecosystem. Its approach is a two-pronged model, combining Tata Stive Skill Development Centres and partnerships with Government institutions, NGOs and corporates. Skill development Centers offer certified courses that align with or exceed the National Occupational Standards specified by various Sector Skill Councils and address skill gaps identified by the National Skill Development Corporation.
