The organization aims in bringing positive change in society so that people including persons with disabilities can live their life with dignity and feel included. We started our journey 30 years back, when the era of social work was quite new to the area. We started working with Dalit communities, as a movement to eradicate manual scavenging and untouchability. Further we realized that there are many other marginalized sections of society in need of various affirmative actions and so, we came up with various projects to address their needs. The journey continued by working on education, livelihood, health, leadership and for persons with disabilities. We received great responses from the field due to our sustainable solution-oriented and community based habilitation approach. Now, this women-led organization looks forward to working towards the achievement of the organization’s vision and mission.
