Hailing from The city of destiny "Visakhapatnam", We at Daksha Welfare Association aim to provide financial, medical and academic assistance to studen Read morets in need. In addition to this, we do conduct multiple events such as Annadhaan, Vastradhaan, Chaitanyam and many others on the same line. As a part of the Annadhaan, we distribute groceries, and boxed meals at multiple orphanages, old age homes and to the homeless. Under Vastradhaan we have been aiming to distribute blankets and clothes at orphanages and to homeless people. Multiple awareness campaigns on menstrual hygiene, career guidance, goal setting, and basic health maintenance are held under the banner of Chaitanyam. Dental check-ups and health check-ups are held under Chikistam when and where ever needed. In many instances, we have distributed happy kits to hospitalized children. Our basic cause is to provide the best possible education and fulfilling basic necessities of the needy in our capability. We have been working towards these goals by helping out whoever reaches out to us and also by sending out our team members to their nearest orphanages, old age homes and roadside people as well.

Programs

  • Daksha - Vidhyadhaan

    The primary goal of Daksha is an innovative initiative designed to empower rural children with essential education, thereby transforming their lives.

    Scholarships: Students from disadvantaged backgrounds who lack the financial means to pursue their academic goals are given scholarships.

    Giving Stationary Kits: Providing the required stationary kit to pupils from disadvantaged or indigenous backgrounds.

    Kit contents include a school bag, notebooks, writing pads, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, measuring scales, and any additional supplies needed for academic work.

  • Annadhaan

    Distribution of Nutritious meals To The destitute: The destitute will receive nourishing meals.

    Food distribution To Orphanages And Old Age Homes: Depending on the needs of the organization, residents will receive groceries or freshly made, wholesome cuisine.

    Staples Are Given To The Daily Wage Families: The daily wage sustainers will receive groceries.
