The trust is promoted by the noble saint Sri Sri Vishwesh Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, Udupi Karnataka who always thinks of the needs of the poor and the needy, who has been recently awarded "PADMA VIBHUSHAANA' by the president of India. While a few residents pay a part of their maintenance, a section is also reserved for those who cannot afford these facilities.
