Programs

  • Mobile health camp

    The mobile health camps aim to provide free health care services to rural communities and underserved populations in their villages. This phase was funded by the Mobius Foundation and implemented by SATHI.
    During this phase, a total of 32 health camps were organized. These camps operated in schools and villages located in Sonipat and Panipat districts of Haryana, India. The schools and villages for the health camps were selected systematically. The requests from communities and schools were considered. The diseases diagnosed and treated were fever, cold, anemia, gastrointestinal issues, headches, joint problems, eye issues and so on.

  • VIRAM - agenda sustainability

    Mobius foundation launched this initiative in collaboration with India Today Group on 23rd November 2022. This was a year-long social cause campaign focused on promoting sustainability. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about pressing environmental and social issues and encourage actionable solutions to address them.
    The centerpiece of the initiative was an on-ground two-hour-long Thought Leadership Conclave. This conclave brought together policy experts, demographic researchers, and academicians who engaged in meaningful discussions and interactions. The event was designed to foster thought-provoking conversations and knowledge-sharing among the participants.

  • Mobius Young Climate Leaders for Himalayan Development (MYCL) Programme

    This sustainability education initiative launched on June 12, 2023, in Dimapur, Nagaland. It is a groundbreaking effort aimed at addressing the critical need for sustainability education among the youth in North-East India. This region, being ecologically sensitive with its Himalayan landscape, requires particular attention to ensure the conservation of invaluable resources.
    The primary focus of the programme is to empower young individuals to become stewards of the environment and take better care of their natural surroundings. By equipping them with knowledge and skills related to sustainability, the initiative seeks to create a generation of climate-conscious leaders.
    The programme aims to identify and train 18 exceptional climate leaders who will play a pivotal role in spreading sustainability awareness. These climate leaders will be responsible for delivering a customized curriculum called the "Pani Pahar Curriculum."

  • Project Aakar

    Project "Aakar" had a specific focus on building awareness and influencing attitudes regarding contraceptive measures within the target group. The main objectives of the project were to strengthen government initiatives related to family planning, change the mindset of couples and communities towards family planning measures, and improve access to reliable institutions for family planning services.
    To achieve these goals, the project worked in partnership with a local NGO called Kartavya Shila Mahila Avam Bal Vikas Sanstha. This collaboration allowed for a more effective and localized implementation of the initiative, as the local NGO would have a better understanding of the community's needs and dynamics.
    The project "Aakar" aligned its activities with the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health & Family Planning and the policies of the state where it was implemented.
